Position: Process Manager
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Location: Bogoso Prestea, Western Region, Ghana
Job Description
The Process Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the process plant’s operations, including the tailings storage facility and metallurgical laboratories. This role requires strategic and technical leadership in managing both oxide and sulphide gold processing circuits, with a focus on regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of the process plant, tailings storage facility, and
metallurgical labs - Provide technical, operational, and strategic leadership for oxide and sulphide gold processing circuits
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards related to plant and tailings operations
- Drive innovation and process optimization to improve plant recovery, efficiency, and
cost performance - Lead and mentor processing teams, and develop succession plans to build a high performing workforce
- Manage metallurgical accounting, reporting, and cross-functional coordination to meet production targets
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related
discipline - A valid Process Manager’s Certificate of Competency issued by the Minerals
Commission of Ghana - Minimum of 10 years’ experience in mineral processing, with proven expertise in oxide and sulphide operations
- Deep knowledge of gold processing technologies, metallurgical test work, and tailings management
- Demonstrated leadership in processing operations with a track record of achieving plant performance targets
