Heath Goldfields Ltd. has paid GHS 136 million to settle outstanding legacy liabilities owed to former workers at the Bogoso-Prestea Mine. We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Samuel Morkeh Arthur (CEnv, MISEP, EnvDipNEBOSH, FGhISEP) as Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager for the Bogoso Prestea Mine, effective 15th September 2025.

Samuel is an accomplished Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) leader with 22 years of professional experience, including 14 years in the mining industry. He holds an MSc in Environmental Resources Management and a BSc in Agricultural Engineering, along with multiple professional certifications, including NEBOSH Diplomas and Certificates, ISO Lead Auditor accreditations (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001), Radiation Safety certification, and the Ghana Minerals Commission Certificates of Competency as Senior Officer, Superintendent, and HSE Manager.
