Chief Inspector of Mines Visits Bogoso Prestea Mine as Heath GoldFields Advances Towards a Safe and Sustainable Restart
Heath GoldFields Ltd was honoured to welcome Chief Inspector of Mines, Mr. Richard Kofi Adjei, to the Bogoso Prestea Mine as part of his recent working visit to assess the company’s preparations toward the responsible restart of operations.
During the visit, Mr. Adjei joined sections of the workforce underground at the Prestea Underground Mine, where he interacted directly with employees and shared words of encouragement. He urged the team to make safety their foremost priority in every aspect of their work and to remain vigilant as operations ramp up. His message was clear — working safely is the cornerstone of a sustainable future for the mine, its workforce, and the surrounding communities.
