Heath Goldfields Independence Day Donation to Schools

Heath Goldfields Ltd supported Ghana’s 69th Independence Day by donating six sets of musical drums to schools in Prestea, Bogoso, Dumasi, Bondaye, and Himan. The initiative promotes cultural education, extracurricular activities, and youth development, reinforcing the company’s commitment to community empowerment, responsible mining, and strong partnerships within the Prestea–Huni Valley Municipality.

As Ghana marked the 69th Independence Day anniversary, Heath Goldfields Ltd. proudly joined the celebrations by supporting education and culture within its host communities.

In the spirit of the national celebration, Heath Goldfields donated six sets of musical drums to schools across the Prestea–Bogoso enclave, including Prestea-Himan, Dumasi, Bogoso and Bondaye. The presentation, made during the Independence Day activities, is aimed at strengthening extracurricular learning and promoting cultural expression among students.

The initiative is designed to enhance school performances during national and community events while encouraging pupils to appreciate Ghana’s rich cultural heritage. It also reflects Heath Goldfields’ broader commitment to supporting education and youth development in the communities in which we operate.

The donation was warmly received by the Prestea-Huni Valley Municipal Assembly and the Ghana Education Service, reinforcing the strong partnership between Heath Goldfields and the people of the Prestea–Bogoso community.
